05 Mar Child Day Care Services Business Plan
Kid’#8217s Community College(r), aims to help students become future leaders by offering a unique collegiate-based curriculum that is tailored for children and first-class child care services. We offer after-school tutoring and advanced technology programs.
Timothy Bernard Kilpatrick (Sr.) is the sole owner of Kid’s Community College. His advanced degree (and interest) in computer science is the driving force behind our technology component. He will be supported by an industry consultant as well as a campus director and vice-president of educational operations. These individuals have extensive knowledge in child care.
Inflation continues to rise every year and the average American family needs dual or additional incomes. This trend has created the need for quality child-care services. We anticipate a growing market for this industry in the Riverview region of Hillsborough County. Reputation, price, service and certification are all critical factors in the success of the child-care services industry. Kid’s Community College(r) will compete well in our market by offering competitive prices, high-quality child care services, and leading-edge educational programs with certified, college-educated instructors, and by maintaining an excellent reputation with parents and the community we serve.
This is a Kid’’s Community College(r), daycare business plan. It will focus on two subdivisions; ‘: Lake St. Charles and ‘, The Villages of Lake St. Charles. These are new upscale community developments in a 2 mile radius that boasts over 900 new houses. Our customers are middle-class, dual-income families that value the quality education and child care we offer their children.
We are opening for business with a initial enrollment of 13 students. We anticipate generating healthy revenues in the first year. This number will nearly triple by Year 3. Our biggest operating expenses will be compensation at industry standard rates for our highly-qualified personnel, and rent on our facilities, improved for our purposes during the start-up period. While we hope to eventually grow to four campuses, the largest operating expenses will be rent and compensation for our highly qualified personnel. We plan to finance this growth from existing cash flows as we go. We expect a net income to begin in our second-year.
We have made a substantial investment in the business to achieve these goals and we seek an SBA loan in return.
Mission
“Some of the best years in life are the time spent as a child and later our collegiate years…” As working adults in a fast paced society, we sometimes forget just how precious and fleeting those years are.
With this in mind imagine an alternative for traditional infant, day, and after school care. A learning environment that is activity-based and reflects those at colleges, universities, vocational centers, and other institutions across the country. College community of care givers who have the qualifications to help your child develop their social and motor skills early on. They can also teach advanced science and arts studies at higher education institutions. This curriculum is collegiate-based and specifically designed for children. It is taught in a nurturing, caring environment.
Now imagine this at a cost less than that of the combination of conventional day care and specific interest based children programs.
